                                                                         Ron Finley by Stephen Ziegler

Ron Finley is the guy who made it possible for L.A. residents to grow food in strips of land between sidewalks and streets. He has seen first-hand how a garden can change communities and residents. In his popular TED talk, he extolls the transformative qualities of a garden. Crescent Farm is about the changing Southern California garden. “Who better than Ron Finley to help us understand how communities can come together as we face a drier tomorrow? We re-imagine the garden with water-harvesting techniques, water-maximizing plants and water-savvy irrigation.” The New York Times has described Ron as “An Appleseed with an Attitude.”
