Los Angeles County Arboretum will celebrate with tours of its plumeria grove, plant sale, and garden workshops on Plumeria Day Saturday, July 20, 2019.

Interested in growing plumeria, those fragrant delicate flowers used in Hawaiian leis? Learn all about the plant during guided tours of the blooming grove of nearly 100 plants at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden. Searching for an unusual plumeria color or scent, visit the Arboretum’s sale where hundreds of plants will be available from Southern California plumeria vendors, including Jungle Jack’s Plumeria and many others. Local experts will lead workshops on plumeria basics. Enjoy a display table of blooms that will delight the senses. A free shuttle to the grove will run during the event.

Everything Plumeria! will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden (301 North Baldwin Avenue, Arcadia, CA 91007).

Admission is $9 to $4; Arboretum members free.
