Make and Take Crafts at The Pasadena Bead and Design Show

This weekend, take up a new hobby. The Pasadena Bead and Design Show is returning to Hilton starting on Thursday, July 28 and hosting daily workshops in jewelry design, polymer clay, wirework, crystal setting, bead making, art clay silver, hand knotting, mixed media, chainmaille, and enameling.

Learn how to make paper beads with Symone Beasley, of String Beads. This class teaches the basics of shaping, structuring, glazing, and preserving paper beads. For an upgraded take on macramé lanyards, join Laura Gasparrini, the principle designer and owner of Om Tara! Temple Arts and Inspired Adornment, in Santa Barbara for her class on. macramé knots. You’ll learn several types of knots the formula to make many more bracelets and necklaces. On Thursday, you will make two single wrap bracelets and one triple wrap bracelet. These classes are led by artisans and are open to all skill levels – now is the chance to learn more about now beautiful pendants, unique rings and statement earrings are made.
