Making Your Green Thumb Greener

It is that time of year again — time to start planning your fall garden. Whether you have a green thumb or a black thumb, Armstrong Gardening Center is offering free gardening classes to customers at their Pasadena store.

Pasadena gardeners of all skill levels are all invited to this upcoming special event and community classes. Each workshop will encourage attendees to nurture their green thumbs with a wide range of topics to get ready for fall.

The first event will take place next Saturday September 9th starting at 9 a.m. The topic will be garden basics. The Armstrong team of experts will share how to determine soil type and sunlight to provide attendees helpful tips for success. Learn the importance of mulching, planting, watering and more.

Each class is instructed by a nursery professional who will offer timely gardening advice and hands-on demonstrations. Armstrong Garden Centers also offer free garden talks from its team of experts for local gardening clubs, homeowners associations and other community groups.

There is no fee and you do not have to register for these classes.

Armstrong Garden Centers is located at 352 E. Glenarm St. and their phone number is (626) 799-7139.
