Here are the Pets of the Week available for adoption at the Pasadena Humane Society this week:

Buttons (A400862)Baby Buttons (A400862) is a small, white, female rabbit. This cuddly bunny rushes to the front of her kennel when people approach, and loves ear and nose rubs. When she’s in a quieter mood, Buttons also enjoys sitting on laps. Cute as a button, she’d look even cuter in a new home!

The adoption fee for rabbits is $30, which includes the spay or neuter surgery and microchip.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.

Call the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA at (626) 792-7151 to ask about A400862, or visit at 361 S. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or email. Directions and photos of all pets can be found at pasadenahumane.org.

Inky (A152822)Sweet Inky (A152822) is a twelve-year- old, neutered male, black and white, shorthair cat. This precious cat comes running for love and attention the second you enter the room. When Inky first came to PHS, he had a hard time adapting to the shelter environment. But our staff was not ready to give up on him, and Inky is now thriving in a foster home! If you’re interested in adopting Inky, email foster@pasadenahumane.org or call 626.792.7151 ext. 171.

The adoption fee for cats is $70 (or two for $85), which includes the spay or neuter surgery, microchip, and vaccinations. Inky qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors program, which waives the adoption fee for adopters age 60 and over. The mandatory $20 microchip fee still applies.
