Pets of the Week at the Pasadena Humane Society

Here are the Pets of the Week available for adoption at the Pasadena Humane Society this week:

Bella (A406783) is a one-year-old, spayed female, tricolor Chihuahua mix who can’t get enough of your lap! Although she can be a bit shy when she first meets you, she quickly warms up into a very affectionate dog. She loves being pet, and once she’s comfortable, she’ll look to sit on your lap and kiss your face. This smart girl loves treats and is more than happy to show off her sit command for one. Bella has gotten along well with other small dogs on trips out on our Mobile Unit. If you’re looking for a calm, sweet pooch to warm your lap and your heart, you and Bella might just be a perfect match.

The adoption fee for dogs is $125 and includes the spay or neuter surgery, microchip, and vaccinations.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.

Call the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA at (626) 792-7151 to ask about A406783, or visit at 361 S. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or email. Directions and photos of all pets can be found at pasadenahumane.org.

Hoygi (A406773) is a one-year-old, neutered male, white kitty with one striking blue eye. Earlier this month, a good Samaritan found him walking alone down a city street with only one eye to look out for himself. They brought him in to PHS, and he’s now comfortable and safe while he looks for his forever home. This affectionate boy has quickly won over our staff with his loving personality. Whether he’s on the prowl for some head rubs or looking for a warm lap to curl up in, Hoygi is irresistibly sweet. Stop by PHS to visit this special kitty; we know you’ll fall in love.

The adoption fee for cats is $70, which includes the spay or neuter surgery, microchip, and vaccinations.
